Take it back!

The recent Supreme Court decision finally got me upset enough to blog again. Especially since I haven’t seen anyone trying to talk about the validity of the decision. The press, and even the President can only seem to speak of the consequences of the decision, but the fundamental errors of judgement made by these so-called justices demand that someone speak out because the court itself has so lost sight of what they were sworn to protect.
John Hughes - was the man who defined Chicago for me while I lived there.

I can’t believe the stupidity of the American public. The media is talking about this like it’s open to interpretation as usual. Bush’s proclamation of clemency is a slap in the face. But I think if Bush literally wiped his ass with the U.S. Constitution it would be a popular clip on YouTube. And it is very likely to be in the next episode of Lil’ Bush. What’s wrong with you people? The only negative of impeaching Bush is that Dick Cheney would be president and I have a solution for you there - just impeach that bastard too.
Deibold’s security is a bit like homeland security. In other words, it is mostly a lot of talk.
A ComputerWorld report is here.
It looks like the North Koreans have decided to pollute the ocean with defective missile parts…
I was thinking the other day about the level of paranoia in U.S. society. People living here might actually be used to it, but you really notice it when you live abroad. I lived in Spain for five years and never felt so calm and relaxed.
Why didn’t I realize this before? All the Bush administration really has been doing is catering to his buddies in Texas. I knew that from the first line dance at the inauguration ball. Did they have a mechanical bull in there? I can’t remember. So now that we’ve taken back the oil “stole” from Texas oil companies isn’t it time to remember the Alamo? This article in the Washington Post is just the beginning. Of course it doesn’t hurt that Bush is posturing at saving millions of low paying jobs so that unemployed engineers like myself will have something to do besides blogging against the republicans.
OK, this ranks up there with addiction to video games, addiction to football, and addiction to having sex. Another great New York Times article points the way to the latest fad illness. Quick go read this and get your fix!
